New York Philharmonic

This elite symphony orchestra has performed more than 14,000 concerts around the globe since its founding in 1842. Concert tickets can cost as much as $100, but the public can attend open rehearsals for just $16. Get tickets by phone, online, or at the box office.

Metropolitan Opera

Celebrating its 125th season this year, the Met is one of the world’s most renowned opera companies. Through the Agnes Varis and Karl Leichtman Rush Ticket program, orchestra seats that normally cost $100 are just $20. A limited number of tickets are available at the box office two hours before curtain time Monday through Thursday — excluding opening night. Fifty Rush tickets per performance are reserved for senior citizens.

Carnegie Hall

Opened in 1891, this historic venue is known as the premier classical music performance space in the U.S. The $10 Ticket program offers a limited number of partial-view seats in the Isaac Stern Auditorium. Get them at the box office beginning at noon on the day of the performance (two tickets per customer).
